Farhad Farjoudi, MD, was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. After completing medical school, Dr. Farjoudi practiced for two years in Tehran as a general practitioner, and then moved to the Philippines to complete one year of post-graduate training.

After completing this training, Dr. Farjoudi moved to the U.S. and started working as a medical researcher at Ohio State University Medical Center. He then was accepted and completed his internal medicine residency at University of Nevada School of Medicine.

He started practicing medicine in 2001 and has been working at Palomar Medical Center in San Diego since 2013. 

He was accepted and completed his Endocrine fellowship at UCSD in 2019, and has since become an active member of the Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. He presented a case report at the Endocrine Society Annual Meeting in the last two years. He also published a case report in the well-known Endocrinology journal, Endocrine Practice, in 2019.

 In his free time, Dr. Farjoudi enjoys traveling, reading and playing tennis. He is also fluent in Farsi. 

Says Dr. Farjoudi, "The idea of being the physician to focus on helping others regardless of circumstance, focus on facilitating people leading healthier and therefore happier lives. I can’t imagine a more fulfilling job."
