Patrick J Fitzgerald MD

Biography

 
Dr. Fitzgerald graduated from Georgetown University Medical School with AOA Honors and completed his surgical training and residency at Stanford University Hospital. He has been a Board Certified Head and Neck Surgeon for over 24 years, all with Palomar Health.
 
He has expertise and special interest in thyroid and parathyroid conditions, as well as head and neck cancer surgery. 
 
Together with Dr. Chi Ha, Dr. Fitzgerald is the co-director of the Head and Neck Oncology Program at Palomar Health. In addition to making a superior surgical team, these two physicians are intimately involved in creating the entire experience for head and neck cancer patients at Palomar Health.
 
When he is outside of the operating room, Dr. Fitzgerald enjoys hiking tall peaks, sailing, golfing, and spending time with his family and wife of 30 years.
