Biography
Dr. Philip Balikian is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in sports medicine, adult reconstructive surgery, hand and upper extremity. He grew up in Boston and graduated with honors from Tufts University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Balikian completed his medical school and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, in Worcester MA.
Dr. Balikian lives in San Diego with his wife and two children. Prior to joining Arch Health Medical Group in 2006, he was in private practice in Kentucky for 6 years. Dr. Balikian enjoys painting, cooking, gardening and traveling. He is committed to giving back to his community and has traveled to Armenia for several orthopedic missions.
