Procedure / Examination
Digital Radiography produces high quality digital images allowing doctors to view the various bones, joints and soft tissue structures within your body. The X-Ray examination is quick and painless. You will be positioned by a technologist and asked to hold very still and sometimes hold your breath during the exposure. In order to produce an image, x-rays beams transmit through the body and are placed onto the imaging plate. With digital radiography, very little radiation is used and patients are shielded whenever possible.

• There is no special preparation required for most x-rays. You may be asked to remove clothing, wear a gown and remove objects such jewelry, glasses, keys, etc. Wear comfortable clothing.
• Please inform the technologist if you are or may be pregnant prior to your x-ray, if applicable.

Plan to bring your insurance card and picture ID with you for your examination. Plan to pay any required co-pay at the time of service. Child care is not available during the time of your examination.
